Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: February 2026

Welcome to the True to You Therapy website! We’re so glad you’re here.

Our site is designed to share information about our services, introduce our team of therapists, and make it easy for you to get in touch or book an appointment.

Please take a moment to read through these Terms & Conditions. By continuing to browse or interact with our website, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at hello@truetoyoutherapy.ca — we’re happy to help.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) form a legal agreement between you (the “User”) and True to You Therapy, operated by R. Stewart Social Work Professional Corporation (“True to You Therapy”).

They outline the conditions under which you may access and use this website, including any written, visual, or audio materials made available here, such as articles, text, images, photos, illustrations, videos, audio clips, software, and source code (collectively referred to as the “Content”).

By using this website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Agreement. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the site indicates your acceptance of any changes.

Services

True to You Therapy is a group of registered social workers and supervised social work students who provide psychotherapy services.

This website is designed to help you learn more about our services, meet our team, and book appointments.

To make scheduling easier, we use a secure online booking system powered by Jane Software Inc. (“Jane”). While Jane helps manage bookings and administrative needs, psychotherapy services are provided exclusively by therapists at True to You Therapy, not by Jane. When using Jane’s platform, you are also subject to Jane’s terms of use and privacy policy.

No Emergency or Crisis Support

True to You Therapy does not provide emergency or crisis services.

If you are in immediate distress or require urgent support, please contact local emergency services (call 911), or attend the nearest emergency department.

To help support you between sessions, we’ve gathered the following resources, all available 24/7 for crisis response and/or emotional support:

1. Suicide Crisis Helpline: Text or call 988

2. Crisis Services Canada: Call 1-833-456-4566 or text 45645

3. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: Call 1-800-273-8255

Please note: While we’ve curated this list with care, True to You Therapy cannot guarantee the accuracy, quality, or availability of the services listed.

General Information, Not Medical Advice

All content on this website is provided for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

No Therapist–Client Relationship Through Website Use

Exploring our website, submitting a contact form, or booking a discovery call does not establish a therapist–client relationship.

You become a client of True to You Therapy once you’ve had a therapy session or consultation session with one of our therapists and have given your informed consent to start working together.
