rates
My rate is $200 for a 50-minute session.
All pricing is based on current market rates for Registered Social Workers in Toronto, Ontario.
Payment
I accept all major credit cards.
Payments are processed immediately following session and a receipt is emailed to you for your records or to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. All information is held on a secure online platform and I never actually see your credit card details, unless you ask me to input your information on your behalf.
Insurance
As a Registered Social Worker, my services are covered by most extended health care or workplace benefits plans.
Since coverage varies by provider, I would encourage you to reach out to your individual insurance provider to determine your specific coverage. Therapy fees paid out-of-pocket are considered a medical expense on your income tax and are potentially tax deductible.
Cancellation policy
If you realize you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the cost of the missed session.
The cancellation fee is applied purely based on notice provided, not your reason for missing, so that you remain the judge of what is an acceptable reason to miss therapy, rather than your therapist deciding that for you. I have found this to be the most fair and respectful approach to everyone involved, including you, your therapist, and other clients who may have benefited from your appointment slot.
